About Jennifer

Jennifer Crank began training and showing dogs at the age of five. At seven, she earned her first agility title with the family sheltie. In 1993 Jenn got her first sheltie Skittles, and earned her first MACH.

Since that time, Jenn's dedicated partnerships with her dogs have taken them to the highest levels of competition. Jenn and her sheltie Guess represented the U.S. at the Agility World Championships in 2004, 2006 and 2007, earning the individual silver medal in 2006 and individual bronze medal in 2007. Jenn and Guess also have numerous placements at AKC and USDAA national championships to their credit.

In 2009 Jenn and another talented sheltie, Blaster, helped bring home a team silver medal at the AKC World Team competition in Austria. Like Blaster, all of Jenn's dogs hold numerous titles:

  • MACH10 APD Sunshine Guess My Name CD, PT, XF, ADT-Bronze, ASD-Bronze, AJD, AGD, AKD (sheltie)
  • MACH9 ADCH Trinity Having a Blast PT, RN, XF, GM, TM-Silver, SACH-Bronze, JCH, SCH-Bronze, RCH (sheltie)
  • CH MACH Rival's Going To The Xtreme XF, MAD (Border Collie)

Jenn has been training with her coach and mentor Linda Mecklenburg since 1999, and has been teaching agility since 2002. She uses the Awesome Paws Handling System as a basis for her instruction and training, and stays current on developments in the system through regular private lessons, seminars, and camps.

Jenn graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Business in December 2009. She offers agility instruction in group classes, private lessons, seminars (often co-taught with Susan Crank), and video consulting through IncrediPAWS Dog Training.
